The patent discloses an apparatus for synchronizing data in a Multi-Input, Multi-Output (MIMO) Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) communication system. Data is being transmitted from any number of transmitting antennas and received by any number of receiving antennas. Apparatus is also composed of demodulators with synchronization circuit to synchronize the data both in time domain and frequency domain. The synchronization circuit is composed of a first portion, where each circuit is exclusively used by each demodulator, and a second portion, where the circuit is shared by all the demodulators.
