Dr. Quevada was previously scientific advisor and law clerk at Pennie & Edmonds LLP in New York City and Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione in Chicago. He holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Chicago.
Dr. Quevada has prepared and prosecuted over 200 patent applications and responses to office actions from various patent offices around the world. He has worked on various projects involving diverse fields such as electronics, materials science, semiconductor materials and devices, optoelectronics, biotechnology, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, computer networks, and computer hardware and software.
He has done work for universities and companies such as MIT, University of Chicago, Hewlett Packard, Visteon Corporation, Alps, Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, Bristol Myers Squibb, Eli Lilly, Cyanamid, Genzyme, Nestlé, and Bic. He was part of a team in New York that performed technical analyses and preparation of documents for a patent interference proceeding before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
